Most outlets won't pick up ALX’s crime reduction. Not newsworthy enough, it doesn't move the needle on traffic. I think that's a problem. Our community deserves to know when things are going well, not just when they aren't. Fair, balanced reporting means the full story, including the wins.

There are currently 3,917 Dominion customers, including 10 special customers, without power. These outages are the result of the severe thunderstorm that passed through our area in the last half hour. The Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR) is between 12 AM - 5 AM.
