Been exchanging ideas for Xmas gifts with family and the one thing I asked for is to avoid anything AI gen might have polluted. Unfortunately, about 90% of what I like to receive (art, jigsaws, books, sewing and embroidery patterns…) is infested by bots slop and fraudsters.

New trend for my clothes : « visibly mending » holes with embroidery. The first one is a patch I made from a bought design and my embroidery machine, the second one (the cat head) I made by hand and ngl it took me an embarrassing amount of time u_u but I like it, so, worth it.

Battle Scars

Finally submitted my attack for FE Art Scuffle, it took forever for me to finish it… I had to get used to a new software (CSP) AND a new setup (new tablet + mini keypad) and it was so frustrating I shamelessly rushed and cheated my way through the second panel (ty csp free assets library!)

Got praised by my doctor this morning about my biochemical blood results, she said whatever you’re doing, keep doing it, and my reply was : I’ve read « Next level » by Dr S.T. Sims cover to cover and took its advices. She actually wrote down its title and author to read it too.

Did I choose to buy this outfit because I am a closeted #starfighter fangirl ? Well. Maybe. Kinda yes. yes. Yes I did. 100% did.

I’m still working out consistently 4-5 times a week, even though I notoriously have 0 self-discipline or taste for repetitive exercise. My secret super power ? An off-the-charts sense of guilt. I guilt myself into exercise, for example by having a carb snack, or buying a cute gym outfit.

I joined this. Already feeling all awkward about it, most people in the server are half my age. But hopefully it’ll motivate me to draw something new in July.

Pursuing my lard-shedding quest, I unearthed my dusty RingFit. Two problems arise : 1. the Ring voice sounds disturbingly like FE Engage Prince Alfred (a certified muscle-obsessed creep in said game) 2. Apex Predator Kitty isn't happy with all these jumps and thumps interrupting his beauty sleep

Wanting to shed a few pounds of lard, I tracked everything I ate in a week and discovered that my diet is already well balanced and perfect for my build & activity level. Which is both good - yay healthy diet - and bad news - urgh guess I have to exercise then... URGHHH......

Sometimes I sew clothes for my dolls with the remaining fabric used to make mine. The dress and its doll-sized copy, and the human size hakama, are quite old, but I made the mini-jinbei just weeks ago. #sewing #BJD

I brought my watercolour palette with me while on vacation, and my mom asked me to paint two postcards for her friends, so I made these. But when I asked who she wanted to send them to, she grabbed the bunny one and said : “actually, this one I’ll keep for myself”, haha

I need to get better at tracking what I do, because I have the undermining habit of forgetting all about the stuff I made as soon as they are completed.

Seasonal depression is hitting hard. I try to maintain the habit of getting out at least 4 to 5 times a week. But last week, not once, but twice, some teenaged brats stopped me in the middle of the street to ask for money, to go chill with their friends in a nearby mall. WTF.

Candid question about Alt texts : I’m all for inclusivity in all forms, so of course alt-text is a positive thing and I don’t question it. What I’m asking myself is, in this age of general AI parasitism, isn’t providing ultra-detailed descriptions of all pics posted a priceless gift to the thieves ?

I submitted the first 22 pages of my comic projet’s scenario notes to my pawblisher this morning, and he just hissed “ where are the drawings ? I’m a cat, I can’t read !” before jumping on the desk and slowly pushing two paper clips over the edge *sigh*
