I do love a train ride!

I've had a yearly cycling goal of 6000 miles for over a decade now. I've missed it by a few hundred miles a couple years. This is the first time I've hit 6K. I've also bumped it a few times this year as I've gotten way ahead of pace for the current goal.

Currently packing for a few weeks at the beach. Of the 30 items on my packing spreadsheet, 26 are needed for indoor and outdoor riding.

I ride my bike, both indoors and out, to maintain my sanity. Needless to say, I am on pace to surpass all of my previous yearly personal best totals

The dogs were not terribly enthusiastic about executing their morning routine about 5 hours ahead of the normal schedule.

AC was repaired this morning (capacitor.) Will have to wait until it cools off outside before I push the temp inside below 80. That said, 80 is glorious compaired to the heat and humidity we had (inside) the last two days!

During my bike commutes on, mostly, mixed-use trails and bike lanes, I'm constantly amazed that so many adults have made it to today years old with their complete lack of situational awareness.
