I think beyond this grief I'm looking forward to some art I've commissioned last month of Sonder. I am happy I was able to support some artists again for a little bit. I could use some joy.

TW grief and pet death: I can't get past the feeling that I murdered Willow by having him put down. I felt the same way about Pippin when he had FIV. I felt the same about Rosco when he was so old his body was giving out. I wish I never had to make these choices. It was for the best.

TW: Grief I'm proud of Willow for becoming more brave over the last few years. Since I moved to Texas he's come out of his shell so much and I owe that to my wonderful partner. He didn't push his boundaries or scare him for fun. He treated him with patience and Willow opened up so so much -

I can't sleep because he's gone. I can't turn back time to change my mind. I can't change my mind because it would've prolonged his suffering. I miss him so fucking much already. That cat loved so so much.

I had a dream that just solidified something in me that I know I'm in the right place now. I'm where I need to be and that I'm grateful to be here.

Gave a presentation on Titanic in a Titanic VR world made by @cababear.bsky.social and even though I crashed twice and had to redo the entire presentation again I still feel it was a success ^^ Now I just need to go back to re-record it for a video!

Right now the character only has UVs/textures. They'd need weight painted, expressions, and visemes. Not to mention they're a feral dinosaur and I'd to work something out like this image So unfortunately, very complex

I can't wait to play this in VRC ;; gotta wait to see if I can commission someone to get them rigged for me tho. So we'll see!

I was on the fence about my dinosona's design for a little while. I really thought I had it with the first couple iterations but tbh I was trying so hard to make them different from Aspen that it truly didn't carry the qualities I adore. I've been stuck with this made up ruleset on how my own OCs-

The Dragon Prince is simultaneously beautiful and awful. It has a great story that's just covered up with horrible character writing/lines. It's trying so hard to be funny but it desperately needs to take itself more seriously. I also think it would've benefited from being 2D animated -

I heard so many blue jays this morning when I woke up! One of them stuck around and kept doing a squeaky gate call ^^ I don't see blue jays much in our tree, if ever so it was a delightful surprise!

I hope when I finish these commissions I'll have the inspiration to draw for myself again. I've just kinda....not looked at my tablet much other than as an extra screen and I feel very guilty about that.

It’s… actually much worse than my EOB stated. Had a phone call with the hospital’s billing department and I learned that the majority of that visit was applied to my deductible. I’m currently on the hook for over $3k. This is crushing, so reposts would be really helpful.
