Just in case anyone out there feels like they shouldn’t post art - please do. The constant bullshit from the news is difficult but we can’t allow all of that to stop us from making art and sharing it. That’s all I have to say rn - am planning to enjoy the rest of my weekend working on sketches.

I've been debating on posting to Deviantart again. I started there, it's where I've planted my roots. But with its involvement in AI I don't feel I can justify that decision. I've pretty much abandoned the place that helped me grow and I've been feeling nostalgic for it again.

Thank you to the folks reaffirming that I did the right thing here. I often struggle with feeling guilty by blocking people and enforcing boundaries and I definitely shouldn't feel that way. I won't be making a post like this again in the future, but if you struggle like I do, it's okay to block.

9/10 if you are blocked you have made me uncomfortable or were rude to me. I don't tolerate it, and looking for a way to contact me to avoid a block is inexcusable. The response to me resetting boundaries by calling me a bitch is a huge giveaway to the kind of person they are.

If there's anything I regret most in life, it's the need to communicate better. There were often times I would lie about how I was feeling in hopes of the confrontation just...ending? It wasn't healthy and I could've and should have done better. I'm glad I've worked on that these last years.

For as long as I can remember, I've always had moments where I experienced this great pain in my chest. That felt like my heart was ripping apart and trying to escape. My doctors always told me I was healthy, and that my heart was fine. Turns out it was a very intense anxiety.
