Very sorry to hear about the death of former Wrexham and Manchester United goalkeeper Dave Gaskell at the age of 84. He took the trouble to reply when I was an aspiring ‘keeper at primary school and asked him for advice. Only recently rediscovered the letter. Condolences to those closest to him.
