Question for the #gamedev s of Bluesky - if you were looking to find an animator for 2D drawn animation, where would you look first?

Not tryna start anything, but I've had back to back days with head scratchers in #godot that turned out to be what I'd consider engine bugs. Today's: if you set an object to travel at 50 meters/sec but the object (or it's parent) is scaled to 2x, it instead travels at 100mps, even set top level.

Spent a lot of late nights with my nemesis and savior, the pen tool, putting together the map for Forum But LOOK AT THOSE COASTLINES!! (worth it) Also thanks Ptolemy

Hey #indiedev / #gamedev s of Bluesky, how long did it take for you to publish your first game? How about the second, if you've made one?

My wonderful demo players have historically gotten a bit overwhelmed as they start their first game of Forum. I'm introducing Helena, the game's first character, to help them along Well, as soon as I figure out how to sketch resemblance, anyhow

If I casually ignore the few wishlist deletions, Forum Mortuorum has hit 1,000 wishlists!!! 😄 I can't believe that my little game has seduced 1,000 randos into resoundingly saying "I'd think about buying that" ⚔️Feeling chuffed😊

The old gladiator busts served well enough, but all things must change and it's time for Forum Mortuorum's combat visuals to as well Here's me exploring a new palette and style with more to come
