After what feels like 2 months of wrangling w/ health insurers & other hurdles, I was able to pick up my 3 meds at the pharmacy today. The head pharmacist said she was instructed that she must call my current insurer for the next month or so to confirm coverage—despite all my wrangling. Life is BS.

Why the ever-living fuck is the street sweeper out doing its thing when the wind is 30 MPH and the humidity in the teens? Goddamn, there's enough particulates in the wind without your dry brushes stirring up the stuff from the curb.

I think I experienced a miracle today. Was able to book a new patient appointment for a behavioral health provider FOR NEXT WEEK, and the provider accepts Medicaid and doesn't require a referral from a PCP to satisfy clinic policy. Almost cried when the scheduler told me the first available date.

Just learned my mental health provider isn't covered by Medicaid that I just started. I have to find a new provider & wait 3–6 months for an appt, & go to urgent care in the meantime to get my monthly script for my sch II med. I spent time verifying the coverage before cancelling BCBS plan. Kill me

Had a job interview today. I even slapped on some makeup for it. Now I understand why the recruiter implied other people contacted had blanched at the pay rate. I put on makeup for this? Nah, I'm good.
