Intellectually (where do I get off using that word?)—intellectually I want the Cards to sell, as long as they can get back some value, which would likely require them to continue stumbling along, but whenever I watch a game it’s impossible not to root for them. The heart wants what the heart wants.

Late in the 2019 season the Memphis Redbirds played a series here in Des Moines. The Redbirds outfield was Randy Arozarena, Adolis Garcia, and Dylan Carlson, who had just been promoted to AAA after an outstanding season at Springfield. That was a pretty good minor league outfield. #STLCards
