Past few days my WOL's lore of "he loves fishing" absolutely possessed me and I finally picked up fishing in ffxiv... I've been too into it. During downtime between ocean fishing, I also got a couple of the society mounts and I've been working thru dawntrail. It's fun :D

Why am I so against generative AI in games? Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

Things in the background have been settling down a bit and I've been starting to slowly enjoy vr again. I'll probably be around more often. It's been relaxing to fish with friends, and I guess Bones and Ghost finally won by getting me to finally enjoy fishing lol.

Since I started drawing more, I decided to start posting art on tumblr again. It's honestly felt pretty nice. I might start crossposting eventually but given I only ever post vrc pics on here, it might be weird... idk. But it's nice to get into drawing again :D
