i think drake's condition (eating a dragon's heart) is the more unique feature to them. working with ronove is also probably very rare, but not unheard of. other dragons are probably more common (thinking like. rastaban, war/hades, tenebrae)

I THINK. in the interest of making drake less unique. the whole dragon scales thing does not belong to them alone. disciples of other dragons also bear scales(/feathers/other features?) of dragons if they are marked by them. and this! is considered Not Great for the haver, and requires hiding
