Two days into painting this mug and I have at least another day’s worth of work to do. Really having fun exploring new color options with all my new @speedball_ceramics colors. Belladonna is coming along beautifully so far! Fingers crossed and many prayers to the kiln gods she makes it out alive!

Headed home from NCECA with a happy heart! I had so many intense conversations, felt seen and heard, felt belonging , and recognized for my efforts. Once I catch up on sleep, I’m excited to get back to my studio!!

My underglazes have been flaking off in the glaze fire. So I am doing a ton of tests now trying to figure out why. I managed to make it happen across all underglaze manufacturers, so it must be something in the application process. 😥
