Throwback to 2015, exactly 10 years ago. The Museum for Art in Wood's annual residency program WARP Wood was called the ITE (International Turning Exchange). The 2015 ITE allTURNatives exhibition featured the work of 7 ITE Fellows, all creating and presenting work from the 2-month residency.

Mechanisms examined: The apparatuses found in @khud1.bsky.social "Longest Distance Between Two Points". Many of the pieces in this exhibition have motion built into to them as mechanical kinetic wood sculptures. Pulley systems and springs blur the lines between furniture, utility, and art.

In Memoriam: David Ellsworth (1944–2025) David Ellsworth was a visionary woodturner, teacher, mentor, and friend– a towering figure in the field of lathe-turned art in wood. He transformed the lathe into an instrument of wonder, elevating woodturning to expressive sculpture and fascinating vessels.
