LED headlights are the single worst thing to happen to cars.

I paid ~$100 for my PC's RAM two years ago. The same kit today isn't in stock, but would be somewhere between $390 and $450 judging by similar models from the same manufacturer. My Samsung SSD has also doubled in price from ~$100 to $200. I'm ready for this AI psychosis to be done with already.

I can't help but be hyped for all the new Valve hardware. I expected the Frame today but the new Steam Machine is a pleasant surprise. And that controller seems really cool. I'm just curious about pricing. And surely they'll have a launch title ready for when all the new hardware launches?

Got networking all set up on Proxmox and TrueNAS today. Setting up iptables rules was a bit daunting but I'm starting to get the hang of it I think. Next I'm going to have to look into why SMB is so slow. Doing the same transfer over scp instead is 10x faster for some reason.

Been playing around with a new server the past few days. I'm still very much learning but so far Proxmox and TrueNAS seem super cool.

I saw Tron Ares last night. Very fun movie, and it was definitely worth it to go see it in theaters.
