I think the want-to is there for McRee as a blocker, but he would benefit from adding some weight/strength, and he'll need coaching up

Lake McRee going up the ladder to get one TD and fighting through tacklers to get another.

You aren't designing your offense around McRee, but he can take advantage when the OC schemes something up for him. Here on a 4th & 4, USC calls McRee's number with a drag route designed to spring him open (though I wonder if one of the WRs might draw a pick flag at the NFL level)

One thing to like about Steelers UDFA TE Lake McRee's game is that he's a tough SOB who can hold onto the ball through big contact
