With great trepidation. That dang saloon is back. Had to saw off loads of tabs to put it together but it will work, because the Old West was dusty and dirty. There will be LED lighting inside. On to the hotel tomorrow, wish me luck.

3D printers for minis... if anyone knows of a specific reason why I should NOT invest (indulge) in a Bambu Labs A1 Mini please speak now or forever hold thy peace. For doing stuff like NPC civilians, greebles, scenery bits I don't want to spend ££€€$$ on.

Think my pigment weathering needs more practice but I'm okay with my

Sherman for now. Strangely a Crusader seems to have been assembled this afternoon. Too cold to prime so back to the Old West tomorrow hopefully.

In the same late 90s night in Manchester I said hello at the bar to Nigel Pivaro and Terry Christian and they both said "Alright kid" back.

Primed the Sherman in Desert Yellow and will lighten up with some Light Stone concoction. So its definitely a GB North Africa tank, to support my 28 Maori. Lost the little lamp on the floor but a model's not a model without a missing piece.

, however realised I have no ABS cement for this Rubicon kit. Glue due Tue. Gonna be a Kiwi Sherman for Tunisia rather than my original plan for a Soviet Emcha.

What's winning, is it What A Cowboy, or is it Dead Man's Hand? What A Tanker has clearly beaten Achtung Panzer!, as seen at The Other Partizan and Salute.

I'd say we're about 85% there now. Still haven't decided on a name for the gaff. Various bits to fill in and to secure the oddments, paint the railings etc etc. Needs some steps to go up to the faro room.

Hey, so if you like my painting and perhaps would like some of it in your collection then I'm available for commission painting and have a few prepainted bits on here already (tell your Star wars friends, or friends in general actually...) I'm open to requests too. C'mon!

I don't care what you didn't have in 1860, the Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen in me says you must have skirting boards in your upstairs poker room.

Read through Midgard today and almost pulled the trigger on a lot of 28mm Romano-Britons but held back. Will finally start some Old West MDF buildings having reread What A Cowboy.

As I drove out of the car park from Partizan this afternoon I saw Mel the Terrain Tutor walking to his car and I was genuinely starstruck. I didn't do an Alan Partridge and shout after him though.

Chain of Command question...im thinking of putting the leaders on smaller (5p) bases, as the troops are on 1p and the weapons team on 2p. Putting an officer on a 2p will look odd. Decisions Decisions.
