The wams (doublet) have been mocked up, and now I’m onto slashing the brustfleck (chest piece)

Went for a stroll and took some beauty shots of the military style cape I just finished.

Finished up this military inspired cape. Made of a cotton twill, it features arm escape holes, hidden button plackets, and a detachable hood which attaches to the inside for storage. Additionally there are clips which join the front to the rear forming an optional “sleeve” when worn.

Early 18th century style shirt It's not meant to be 100% historical as the fabric really isn't correct for the early 18th century. But I wanted to make something comfortable to wear camping that I could incorporate in my every day wardrobe.

Some more progress on the military style cape l've been working on. All the hidden buttonhole plackets are done and the arm slits attached and finished. I got the collar worked up and basted in place.

The hosen are complete! This is for a Florian Geyer inspired outfit (though the image reference is really Kunz von der Rosen) The hosen are interpreted from what little we can see in the etching. The lower half I interpreted from other early 16th century references.

Another custom dragon cape complete! Made of a wool melton lined with a polyester scale textured jacquard. The cape features scales, ears, horns, and a removable tail. I used some vintage heraldic dragon buttons and toggles to close the front.
