These transgender laws affect a very small & vulnerable minority. To focus persecutory legislation on a small small group that truly needs support is terribly injurious, signalling a hateful wish to do harm. Because government isn't ignorant- it has resources to know better- it's doing evil.

Moe in Sask. used the not withstanding clause against trans students in schools. He was challenged in court it went all the way up as the Sask. govt. claimed that it was non challengable. The supreme court said “not so fast” the people have a right to challenge a law that infringes on human rights.
