A couple of quick colour illustrations (okay… sketches really) to get back into things after months of working almost exclusively in 3D. 🥹

Borrowing elements from European fairytales, myths, and legends, "The Keepers" follows the stories of six protagonists as they find themselves entangled - sometimes by chance, sometimes by birthright - in a world of legendary creatures, mythical items, and a touch of magic.

A little something to warm your heart on a cold Winter’s day… A small test comic to see where I want to take the illustrations for a larger graphic novel project. 🩵 Happy New Year 2024!

So I’m finally saying ‘fuck it’ and do what I always wanted to do. Sure, I was happy with what I was doing - what was expected of me: the (high end) realism stuff and all. But my heart was always in line art with limited, translucent colour, if any. I’ll see how that turns out. So far, so good.
