Welp after a not so fun night of being in A&E and then the maternity ward for IV fluids and anti-sickness meds and discharged at 2am in the morning, I made it to my dental appointment this morning and the annoying wisdom tooth has been removed

2nd dating scan today - baby still didn't want to cooperate with the midwife doing the scan but we got a measurement in the end and the estimated due date has shifted back to the 2nd May 2025 We also look to have a very healthy Baba growing so far 😊

Went for a bimble on Dartmoor today - a bit wet and windy so we had to turn back before the weather got to bad also our plan to reach one of the Tors from Cadover Bridge was foiled by being unable to find a way to cross a river XD

Tfw the joining knot you used to join two balls of yarn comes undone a row later - I think I've managed to salvage it but damn that's irritating Note to self maybe don't use that type of joining knot again 🙃🙃🙃

Had my first scan and saw my little one for the first time, seeing them move was amazing and felt surreal even if they kept hiding from the scan XD I suppose this is when I can officially announce that I am having a baby ☺️

Someone on Facebook gave me a tip for how to crochet in the round without crocheting a magic circle and look it! I did it! I've not worked out how to close the hole using this method but look this is a huge jump and I'm stupidly proud of myself

Realising the pattern for the blanket requires 305 stitches across and I'm wondering how I chain that many without losing my mind
