Bua Loi Students at Ladbroke Grove celebrated Thai New Year this week. An demonstrated how to make 'Bua Loi', a traditional Thai dessert consisting of colourful rice balls served in coconut milk. We enjoyed trying the new flavours and textures in this dessert with many going back for seconds!

Young people from Collingham Child and Family Centre attended the I Am Festival at the Tate Modern on 12 March. They explored the sensory room, made gold birds and saw their paper planets displayed as part of the exhibition, celebrating the creativity of deaf, disabled and neurodiverse young people.

One of our students made this Lohri Bonfire. "Lohri is a North Indian Punjabi tradition to celebrate the beginning of spring and the joy that a newborn can bring. It is celebrated with delicious food, nuts, bonfires and kite flying as well as dancing (traditional dances like Bhangra and Giddha). "
