I was supposed to learn and teach Praga Caput Regni last night, but I've developed a little ear infection and can't be bothered to learn a lot of rules atm. So we played Everdell instead. It's pretty good! I'd def play it again, probably as the next step up from Wingspan. #boardgames

I'm taking a bit of a break from the mainline Final Fantasy titles. There's a couple interesting spin-offs that I want to explore. Starting with Final Fantasy Tactics: Advance I played the crap out of this when it came out in 2003. I'm pretty excited to play it again

Went up to Chemainus to see Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. I didn't realize it was a musical. It was FANTASTIC! Local live theatre is such a delight.

I don't understand why Final Fantasy XII is $20, while FFXIII is only $7.19 🤷‍♂️

I loved Final Fantasy X so much that I wasn't ready to move on from Spira. I knew nothing about Final Fantasy X-2, and holy crap what a tone change. Going from a somber, melancholic story of sacrifice and duty, to a Magical Girl Charlie Angels side story. Why does Yuna have a gun now!? 🎮

Spent the afternoon at the Ultimate Toy Fair. Some neat toys from the 80s and 90s, lots of Star wars and pokemon stuff. A lot of it felt like people emptying their garages of collectables. The busiest tables were the ones dealing in Pokemon singles. I didn't realize how fervent that community is.

The CGI cutscenes slip in and out pretty seamlessly, but man can they create a graphical whiplash

Went to one of our local Board Game Café last night for the launch party for Tatsumi. It hits that easy to play while being a satisfying puzzle target really well. You move your dragon across the ocean tray, hoovering up rings to place into your island for points. I really enjoyed it! #boardgames

I love how the main character gets a 3D face, but the background character faces are just flat.

Final Fantasy X This is one of the Final Fantasy games that I played when it first came out. It's been almost 20 years since I played it last, and it's amazing how few details I remember. The theme 'To Zanarkand' immediately stirred emotions in my heart. Love the power of music. 🎮

I've eaten a lot of ice cream, and I have to say Rocky Point Ice Cream has some really stellar flavours.

My daughter has been playing Pokemon Sword and she decided to draw all the pokemon that have evolved so she won't forget them

Picked up some handhelds to give to my nieces as gifts for Christmas, but I've gone down the rabbit hole of various OS options and having trouble nailing down which one to settle on.
