As someone who has next to no knowledge of Magic The Gathering, but was always interested in the cards and lore, the 1st issue of the new series Untold Stories: Elspeth really impressed me. Picked it up on a whim and was wowed by the comic. Highly recommended.

Very happy to have High Potential back for season 2, however I hope they don’t carry the Game Master plot line to long. One of my favorite parts of the show was the murder of the week format.

Looking for something different? Then try Good As Dead #1 by the Laphams & Dee Cunniffe from Skybound / Image Comics. This comic really wowed me. Also note the format is square bound which makes for an extra long read.

Read BSTTLE BEAST #3 from Skybound / Image Comics. Nobody illustrates absolute carnage much like Ryan Ottley, but there’s also these quiet scenes that he just nails too. Another solid read.

Read I HATE FAIRYLAND #43 from Image Comics. Just started reading this title, didn’t realize what I was missing out on. This comic goes hard, so much fun i’m really enjoying it.

Read Absolute Superman #10 “The Beast in the Mine” from DC Comics. The swerve in this issue has me wanting to go back and reread the previous issues that led up to this. Really interested in were this is going.

Read Absolute Green Lantern #5 “With Fear” from DC Comics. This title has been challenging for me of all the Absolute books. The storytelling and art haven’t clicked for me. However the final page of this issue had me wondering what happens next. The cliffhanger worked, I’ll be back next month.

Read David Marquez’s THE UNCHOSEN #1 from Image Comics. Solid introductory first issue. Nice “Come with me if you want to live” vibe. Absolutely loved a panel where a character was pushing the walls a part. Great storytelling, would recommend.

I said goddamn SouthPark went HARD. Incredible first episode, really W O W’d me.

My R-Truth hot take. He doesn’t sign with any one company. Every week just shows up on an a different televised show from around the world and creates magic.

I’ve experienced the final episode of this season’s Doctor Who. Ncuti Gatwa brought so much to the role and quickly became a favorite. Loved his take on The Doctor. Sad to see him move on, but happy we had the two seasons together.

The first page of Absolute Martian Manhunter 3 went harder then I was prepared for. This series continues to W O W me.

Absolute Flash has been an intriguing read. The 3rd issue continues this trend. Story & art have been amazing keeping me on the edge of my seat.

Sad to hear Peter David passed away. An incredible writer whose work brought me so much joy.

Absolute #Batman issue 7 page 12 panel 1 …… I can’t remember the last time I turned a page and loudly gasped.

So #NightCourt has been canceled by NBC after 3 seasons. I’m happy we got such a fun revival, would I have preferred 4 seasons…. of course!

#Thunderbolts* was great. will definitely see it again. looking forward to finding out were the MCU goes next. Side note, IMAX seats are so uncomfortable. 1st time seeing a movie in IMAX in a long time and damn they give you no leg room at all.
