I don't think it's just contexts' fault. I think it's also too much boilerplate that's needed to achieve basic stuff and LiveView not being part of the framework + its design with views and components being two different things. It's still the best stack on the planet if you asked me 🙃 (1/2)

Claude sucks at writing Phoenix - it still uses all the old pre-1.7 syntax like `form_for`, `Routes` etc.. Working around this by writing detailed explanations of the new syntax in my cursorrules but it's a PITA... is there a better way? @elixirlang.bsky.social #MyElixirStatus

Underrated Bsky feature: the “for you” tab tells me whether I already follow someone, without me having to click through their profile to check. I wish X did this.

One VERY noticeable difference between Bluesky and X is how much more responsive Bluesky's web UI is. Everything is just faster: links/buttons load instantly and I feel no tangible delay when clicking anything. The bird app is slow as hell in comparison.

Bluesky (and the other place) really needs to extend its "muted words" feature to apply to: - OCRed text in attached images - user bios (muting the entire user if certain words are in the bio) I try to avoid certain topics on here but they're inescapable.

After ~8 years of learning Portuguese, I've just learned that to say "mine" (as opposed to "my" + some noun) you just say "meu"/"minha" (masc/fem) and not "o meu" / "a minha". I've been saying it wrong for 8 years and no-one ever corrected me, and now I can't stop saying it the wrong way. FML.

Forgot to bring the right type of plug adapter to Brazil and now I need to prop my laptop charger up with books so it doesn’t fall out of the socket 💀
