I always feel inspired when I have a chance to talk with young people. For all the challenges and divisiveness we face today, their idealism, leadership and desire to make a difference truly give me hope that we can get to a better place. Together we must keep working- they deserve no less!

Trump dismantling the Department of Education today is another illegal act by him. Congress created the department, and only Congress has that power. It is a real sign of weakness by Trump. He doesn’t have the votes in Congress to do what he wants to do, so he resorts to illegal actions. #Shame

Less than 3% of people arrested here by ICE had a criminal record. Trump’s goal is never law enforcement. It is always to try to intimidate, humiliate, to inflict fear and trauma on the most vulnerable, and to desensitize us to federal troops being on our streets before the midterms.

So grateful to be able to go to a game with friends who have been a huge part of my life for five decades!

When Jeffrey Epstein calls you the worst of the worst, that obviously tells us all we need to know. And yet, our country elected this man- the worst of the worst- to be President, twice. Very sadly, that says a lot more about who we are as a country now- and what we value- than it does about Trump.
