Folks, I really hate to tell you this, but it’s going to get worse, much worse. Our only hope- to minimize the murders, violence and trauma- is to show true courage, resist, and resist together. Sometimes you choose the moment, and sometimes the moment chooses you. This moment has chosen us.

An ICU nurse, who works at the VA taking care of critically ill veterans, was killed today by the very government he serves. He went to check on a woman today in Minneapolis, and ICE executed him. America: Do not look away, and do not hide from the reality of who we have become.

National strike, runs until ICE is abolished and DHS defunded or abolished.

Both are good ideas, ones I've also thought about. Here's a couple more: - A sit-in (camp-in?) taking over DC until he is gone - Mass, constant protests in front of your reps/senators houses - until they impeach and convict him - Mass strikes, especially for government services. Shut it all down!

Riot? I realize this is no time to joke, but I'm at a loss. Perhaps a national day of mourning, where all the news stations play funereal music all day, and everyone grieves.

Our collective response to Trump generally, and ICE violence specifically, has been wildly inadequate. Please think about what we should do: A nationwide (or states willing) strike, in which everything shuts down? A march on Washington, where millions turn out? Something else? What are your ideas?

The United States government is waging war against, and executing, unarmed civilians. Let that reality sink in…
