I’m watching a Norwegian reality show and an English man who has been living in Norway for 30 years is in it. He speaks very well Norwegian, but now when he speaks English, he’s got a Norwegian accent and it’s the funniest thing to me 😂

My mom is so sweet. She always says “Ok, bye gold-gold“ when she’s hanging up the phone which is a sweet way of saying ”bye sweetheart“ in old north Norwegian. I feel like a little kid again every time! It means literally golden, tiny and precious and it’s only used by parents to their kids.

*Asks my mom for the biggest whole milk carton.* *Proceeds to leave it on the counter over night so it’s unsafe to drink and needs to be tossed away.* Why am I like this.
