Exciting news, today, the Government of Canada is taking significant steps to protect aquatic species at risk in British Columbia. They announced $4.79 million to support conservation and recovery, funding ten projects as part of the Canada Nature Fund for Aquatic Species at Risk (CNFASAR).

Federal and Haida leaders signed a historic agreement Monday recognizing Aboriginal title over the archipelago of Haida Gwaii off British Columbia's northern coast.
