I don’t want to hear anyone say a word about Lando’s“mentality” he is so genuine in everything he does or say, and he’s also pretty freaking fast. Whatever the result of this year is I’m really proud of him.

I understand that the team is still learning to keep up with having two fast drivers and a decent car. And that’s bringing the teams weaknesses to the light. But we HAVE to do better. All the work for 26 won’t matter if the car is a rocket ship but we keep having these issues.

Beyond pissed off for Carlos. Even with the impeding from Hadjar, he was only -0.020s off making Q2. And there's absolutely nothing he or Williams could have done to prevent it. When is his luck going to turn around? This is getting really, really old.

Carlos Sainz came in No. 2 in The Race’s 2025 #ImolaGP driver rankings behind Max Verstappen. The article recognizes Sainz’s strong qualifying performance, which could have been even better if not for Q3 traffic, and noted he appeared “very much on top of the car.”

As much as I hoped we would do better the strategy they picked for Carlos was not actually the worst call. Multiple teams were pitting early. They genuinely thought it’s the better option. Not a the worst start to a triple header. Hope we do better in the next one.

I said this at the end of last season. I never imagined I’d be validated so early in the season.

I’m so sick of the way this sport treats Rookies, this is borderline unethical. “F1 is ruthless that’s the nature of the sport” well maybe this should not mean to ruin young drivers careers before they even get a chance. God I’m so angry!

It’s absolutely okay to feel disappointed. Just don’t let it consume you, because there’s so much to be positive about. Williams cars were not fighting with Ferraris on any day for the last decade. Regardless of how shit that red team is, looking at our rear wing for even a lap is a leap forwards.

other than the DRS game at the end, i loovvvedddd watching carlos & alex overtake ppl one by one, right after one another, like carlos would overtake overtake ocon for example & then alex would do the same the lap afterwards, and so on till they made 8th & 9th. it was loovelyyy

I remember this time last year we were all going insane thinking about where Carlos would go after Ferrari. And until May or June I believe no one ever mentioned Williams as even a possibility. Today seeing him in blue hitting new millstones with his new team. It’s definitely a special feeling.

I know know this weekend ended badly for Sainz but I can’t help but giggle and kick my feet every time I watch his overtakes and battles in the race, fighting top cars in a Williams he’s not 100% comfortable with yet? That‘s just so good!

Carlos had the pace this weekend and an unlucky result can’t take that away from him. It’ll be there in Jeddah.

Sometimes drivers are just unlucky. Carlos was doing so well and did some great overtakes it was truly enjoyable watching him fight top cars like Hamilton and Yuki. Gutted for him but extremely proud of him. His time to will come.

Incredibly happy with qualifying today but strategy is going to be key tomorrow with really competitive cars around us. Williams need to lock the F in tomorrow.

And it's P8 for Carlos Sainz! His best qualifying result of the season! GAS leads the midfield over one lap. He posted quite an impressive gap on Williams (-0.464s)

Fining Williams € 7,500 for that moment in FP1 is sort of ridiculous in my opinion. Especially with the FIA still actively evading providing any sort of explanation on where the money goes to.
