#NowWatching, for the first time, Dune: Part 2 (2024). Director: Denis Villeneuve I don't know, like part 1, the visuals, cinema photography is beyond amazing, but the story is only mildly interesting to me. Had a harder time sitting through this one. #filmsky #moviesky

#NW, for the first time, Inglorious Basterds (2009). Director: Quentin Tarantino. Yeah, yeah, just getting around to seeing this...and I loved it! expertly shot film with an awesome cast. Christopher Waltz is the obvious standout here with an inspiring performance. #Filmsky #Moviesky

I wish they would make another Alien movie set after Resurrection, and that it might be good as to not end a binge watch on Resurrection. I like Resurrection, but always feels weak as an ending to the series.

All faces and bodies are beautiful, our features and "flaws" make each of us unique. How boring would it be if we all looked like Ai created, heavily filtered, or "Hollywood fake" humans. And why should people have to try to live up to those fake standards that aren't real to begin with. 🖤🫂🖤

#NW, Up (2009). Directors: Pete Docter and Bob Peterson Up is a great movie, but not high and my rewatch list. Has maybe the best Pixar opening, but also the most sad. Gets me every time 😢. #filmsky #moviesky

#NW Toy Story 3 (2010). Director: Lee Unkrich. For me, this was peak Toy Story and should have ended here. The fact that the daycare turns into a prison break out movie, where you think the main conflict is resolved only to transition to the most harrowing climax for these characters.

#NW Joker (2019). Director: Todd Phillips Spectacular performance by Joaquin Phoenix, but struggles with an underwhelming first and second act, a forgettable plot. This always felt like a different script was rewritten to include the Joker and Gotham/Wayne's. #filmsky #moviesky
