Just before Omicron, Finland's CDC suggested that some people may get "natural boosting" or "brush with nature", i.e. a C19 infection. Today, they continue to count an infection as equal to a vaccination. That is, if you had an infection, you will get one less vaccination.

There's a similar study of pretty much all of Norway, following up for 3 years after vaccination. In all years and in the years combined, and in all age cohorts, vaccination was PROTECTIVE against all-causes mortality. I blogged about it here:
