Nipped out with the dog in my dressing gown and crocs as usual. There's rarely anyone about. Very quiet. Light rain has just begun.

The water pipes do tend to knock in this house. I don't know why; is it air in them or something? I don't know. What I do know is that at night, it's very spooky.

I have one of those awkward dilemmas broiling away when I just don't know what to do for the best and feel incapable of making a decision either way. Argh, procrastination is my middle name right now.

My old neighbour who is staying atm, doesn't drive so I've been driving her hither and yon. It's been quite nice really, I've enjoyed being the taxi . And it's been nice to have the company tbh.

I visited the annual photography expo at La Gacilly (SE Brittany) today. This year the guest sector was a focus on the UK, entitled 'Oh, so British!' It was joyful, confronting, insightful and cringe-making at times. Definitely an interesting way to see how others see us. Here's 4 of my favourites.

I saw some deer here yesterday. Goodnight. 😴😴

This isn't the September I wanted. I wanted juicy blackberries, rusty red leaves, mild days and moonlit nights. It's just dried up, hard blackberries, soggy leaves and dark, cloudy evenings.

Apparently, there were protests in my local town today. Locals joined hands and were seen engaging in traditional Breton dancing around the biggest roundabout whilst some bemused Gendarmes looked on.

Have been looking for 'dull' videos to send me to sleep. Found one on the asteroid belt and thought, yeah, that'll do it. Instead I'm now fascinated and accidentally awake.
