Apollo couldn’t explain his nerves or the uneasy feeling in his stomach. Why was he nervous? Should he be nervous? He doesn’t know the answers to these questions, but the cause is right across from him or rather, to his left, prepping what he assumed to be tea by the faint clatter of ceramic. —

This is NOT how he wanted to spend his evening, quite the opposite actually. This was the worst situation he could have imagined, not that he could have predicted this could have happened, in the slightest. —

The air was cool and the sky dark, little specks of yellowish light dotting the deep blue above their heads. Despite the chill Apollo was warm- happy really, to be just where he was looking up at the stars. Beside him was Clay of course, on the blanket he had laid out neatly on the grass. —
