I saw a small demonstration on my way home, yesterday. They had hand-made signs and one waved the US flag. It made me sad that the flag and the word "patriot" on one sign made me assume they were MAGA though I'm guessing they weren't. Once-proud symbols of democracy now representing division.

Preparing to publish a paper on work I've been doing for the better part of a decade on methods allowing students of color to do the same lab as their white classmates. Now I have to rewrite it to appease a wannabe dictator and it still might be considered "too DEI" to publish. SMDH. So wrong.
