Just finished watching “Swapped” on NFlix. Adored it - not just for TFy and birb content, but the creature design was just so wonderful. Birb Approved

So, went to the event but didn’t suit. Perhaps if _anybody else_ had turned up in Ren garb I might have found it in me to wear my stuff _and_ be a Khajiit. But no… every attendee just came in street clothes. :(

TIL is that Jousting events are kind of popular here in the UK. I already know that the one nearest me (in August) is costume-friendly, and I’m just seeing if a couple of others that are happening in the early May Bank Holiday are too. Because if so… Khajiiting may occur…

Just noticed that the Toronto Blue Jays home opener was last night. Once again, even though I’m no longer living in Toronto, I offer the same deal; if they win the ‘World’ Series, I’ll pause all mockery of all blue jays (birds and baseball) for a whole year! What a deal!

It seems that when the TFL Oyster system gets confused and doesn’t register a journey, it then _really_ can get confused. Like today, it missed something and charged me an extra full fare, and has now blown by the daily cap by about double. 1/

I don’t suppose there’s anyone out there who is able to print decals? (eg, for car windows) I’ve been searching for places locally/in the UK that would do it, but can only find places that do bulk orders. I have 3 designs and only need one of each made.

Ugh… and I hate systems that don’t accept ‘+’ as a character in email addresses. It IS a valid separator! Both GMail and iCloud support this, and I’m sure other sites do.

Whee.. ‘fun’ adventure this morning with Virgin Media as I tried (without success) to get the new Hub4 they sent me to work in ‘modem mode’ so that it will work with my UniFi router. Except, according to the tech person, it was not properly going into modem mode. So, technician visit tomorrow.

I now have an EV charge point at home. All I need now is an EV that I can plug into it… which is now estimated to be March 31. :P

Welcome to village living. Our nearest towns are just under 4 and 6 miles away, but there’s only - at best- hourly service to each, and every 2 hours on Sunday. :P
