I finally sat down to watch #Sinners. Ryan Coogler delivers a stunning take on the vampire genre. The juke joint dance scene is nothing short of phenomenal, and the way it bridges the past, present, and future of music is breathtaking. This is definitely destined to be one of my favorite films.

The new year's reading list has started off with a bang. I've listened to a few books through audible, there are some I need to physically read. Nicholas Binge is the perfect "whodunit" and sci-fi put together. I've read 3 of his books, 1 is on order and the other comes out later this year.

I'm up for recertification this year. I'm working on my CE credits. You know you live in a not-so-safe area for the LGBTQIA+ folks when you take the test without reading the material and get all questions correct.

This book is a must-read. As a Kentucky native living in Nashville who also has ties to Vanderbilt, I really enjoyed the book. It really is a great southern gothic book. It would make a great gift for the holiday's.

If you have a chance, you need to watch #AllHerFault. It's wild and nothing like I thought it would be. There are twists, turns, red herrings, and the revelation is only part of it. I actually enjoyed it.
