Science Sunday Expo 2025 was another great hit! I love visiting this expo and seeing families learning about science in all forms from caves, to astronomy, to food security, to marmots, there was something for all ages. Thanks to Nanaimo Science’s Executive Director Amie and the entire team!

My NDP colleagues and I recently wrote to the Prime Minister regarding the remarks made by Donald Trump concerning Palestinians and Gaza.

I am sad to hear that Victor Osborne passed away recently at 106. Victor shared with me stories of joining the British Navy at 15 & of his service for the peace & freedoms we enjoy today. My love goes out to his family that were by his side until the end. Victor will be missed, but never forgotten.

Today we marched for #nomorestolensisters, to remember all women, girls, and 2SLGBTQIA+ people tragically taken & to honour their loved ones who mourn their loss. Today was powerful, uniting together to see Indigenous people protected, safe, & loved. Thanks to VIU Students' Union for all your work.
