Dr. Marcie Fisher-Borne, & Dr. Kunal Saxena, Outcomes Research, HPV Vaccines: Current HPV vaccination rates for eligible mid-adults remain low, at less than 1%. Approximately two-thirds of those vaccinated are female. This is more evenly distributed for RSV and PCV. #NHPVC25

Dr. Shelli Larkin, Maryclaire Regan, Nyree Riley, Augusta University held 3 Vax Bash Events on campus, administering 36 HPV vaccines on site. Mary A. Gerend, PhD, FSU College of Medicine: HPV cancer survivor narratives may be a promising intervention strategy for increasing HPV vaccine coverage. A narrative message detailing a parent's experience with an HPV cancer significantly outperformed the control message. #NHPVC25

Heather N. Owens, PhD, Moffitt Cancer Center, Adolescent and young adult cancer survivors have an increased risk for secondary HPV-related cancers. Targeted interventions are needed to increase HPV vaccination in adult cancer survivors. #NHPVC25

Univ of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio: National data show that only 15.6% of mid-adults have ever been vaccinated against HPV. This suggests that the guideline could apply to a large group of unvaccinated adults in the United States. #NHPVC25
