Grabbed the 25lb and 30lb dumbbells for my goblet squats. If I hadn't signed up for personal training, I'd still be using the 20lb.

Yesterday was also the first day I did not wear my winter jacket. Same thing today though I was a bit chilly heading to the green line.

Spring is here. Wore my gym shoes to the gym instead of my hiking shoes.

Totally underestimated how icy my neighborhood would be. Not fun walking to the green line this morning. My hiking shoes are 6 years old so I don't think they have as much traction as they used to. Thankfully I did not fall.

I missed my "early" train at 7:35 and the next train hadn't turned around at Cleveland Circle yet. On top of that there were signal delays that started as soon as the #mbta opened this morning. Ended up 15 minutes late.

Got a hot chocolate and a bagel to go from Zaftig's as a treat after meeting with a new (private pay) PT provider. Burned by tongue with the first sip. Still worth it.

I really hope I don't lose power. I have 3 Crohn's med pens in the fridge - if they all warm up to room temperature then 1 is spoiled (2 week shelf life once warmed up). I'm glad I got a branded insulated bag for travel that came with a couple ice packs. Put those in the freezer just in case. 🤞

Carried a load of laundry that goes into the dryer down to the basement. Downstairs neighbor still has clothes in the dryer (still warm) so I brought my clothes up. Don't want to have a dryer load sitting in the wash because neighbor hasn't moved their clothes yet.

I'm glad I went to see Cary Elwes last night. Trying to remember exactly how I saw the Princess Bride for the first time. I think a school friend showed it to me during a sleepover.

Gonna see Cary Elwes tonight at the Wilbur. Debating if I should see how crowded Panera is before the show.

I've already downloaded 22 gigs of google photos/ videos. I'm trying to delete duplicates/not great shots. I'm also deleting the videos as download them. I've cleared ~10 gigs out. All the MBTA videos I've downloaded are organized by line. And then the station/train type if I can tell.

Had an appointment at 9:30 and gateway said arrive by 9:15. Hopefully the MA calls me back soon. At least my hair game is on point.

I don't think I'm spending too much time on meta sites. But I realized that I will gladly engage with content that the meta algorithm feeds me - on instagram. It knows my interests and I like what I see. But I really dislike it on facebook now that the app has updated to include a reels tab.

I know the Green Line to work is supposed to be ~25/30 minutes but today was the first day I was worried I wouldn't get a seat. I pushed to the back of the Type 9 that was waiting at Coolidge Corner and there was 1 left.

I use a spreadsheet for my PT because we combined two programs, the existing one from last year and the new one post surgery... I forgot to log yesterday's exercises in the app. But it hurts less cuz I let my streak die last week. Still haven't topped my best 63 days right before surgery in Oct.

Heard from the doc that I don't have to continue the specialty injection that costs me $450 (at least until I hit my out of pocket max) Wonder what I could treat myself with that savings?

Today I learned that the C line doesn't *have* to stop at St. Mary's when it runs express to Coolidge Corner. First time they announced it when we arrived at Kenmore, all the other times they announced as we left the station. 🤔 I'm so lucky to live near Coolidge Corner. #mbta

Had a quick appointment at Yawkey. Cold enough that I took the Red Line from Charles MGH to Park Street instead of walking up Cambridge Street to Beacon. I'm glad I did not get rid of my previous winter coat. It's a columbia, made differently than my l.l.bean.(thermal insulation vs down feathers)

I've been having major problems with my glasses fogging. So I just sort of guessed on 5x zoom where the train would be to snap a pic.

Really wish there was a way to know if the washer and dryer are free before I go down 3 flights of stairs with my laundry. Including Friday it's been occupied every time I've gone down except for Friday night at 7pm. I actually really want to do laundry. I've already tried twice this morning.

I think the weather ruined my plans again. Supposed to go to a masked social tonight when the wind-chill is supposed to be -5°F and I don't feel like ubering both ways. And then I need to go to the gym tomorrow but the warmest forecasted wind-chill is like 2°F at 4pm.

Just chronic illness things: personal trainer (Alex) asked how often I saw my doctor and I replied which one? 😅

Broke all 3 streaks. Just not on the same day thankfully. I read 4 books in January so I'm not rushing book 5.

Trying to not beat myself up for skipping PT pt last night. Realized it was 945 and I decided to get ready for bed. I was actually feeling worse Tuesday night than Wednesday night, but I know I've been staying up too late recently. Too much phone time in bed. Broke my streak of 50 days.

Argh. Need dental work as one of my capped front teeth is loose. The cement finally wore out. I forget how old I was when I got these permanent ones in. Got an appointment tomorrow after work. No idea how much it'll cost. This office isn't great with billing.

One thing that did annoy me is that she dismissed one of my complaints. That my lower legs along the shin bones are so tender that any touch/pressure is painful. She's a physical medicine and rehab doctor so she's more focused on movement.

Nice to know my leg issues are so unspecific that they stumped the MD at Spaulding /s I need to be better at tracking my pain/discomfort. Like at PT yesterday I did a bunch of jumping and today my shins still hurt. I think that's good data to log... On a spreadsheet.

I was thinking of an armchair diagnosis but that's not the right word. Just came to me: drive by diagnosis. When a provider meets you for the 1st time, sees a snapshot of your symptoms, suggests a cause. At least they looked at my chart and noticed the high heart rate has been going on for a while.

On my way to meet a personal trainer at my gym. Haven't been able to get back to running yet so it's time to refresh my strength routine. I tried a mile at 3.5 mph on the treadmill yesterday and my left leg was hurting after. I've walked further than that no problem, but probably not as fast.

Volunteered to go to the office today since Monday was an actual snow day and I had a scope Wednesday. Rewarded with the Pride Train!

Huh, picked up a script and for the first time my receipt came to my email (like a normal CVS store purchase). I was actually using the printed coupons, more than the digital "send to card" ones. Gotta be better at checking the digital coupons now.

Spent the night at Mom's. She pays into a hoa/development who is supposed to handle snow removal. Except the interior common pathways haven't been cleared nor has the fire hydrant right outside Mom's house. Property management said they'd take care of it yesterday. 😬

Tried taking a walk but wore too many layers. But a lot of corners / crosswalks weren't shoveled so I'm glad I wore my boots and snow pants.

My coworkers live all over the state (even before covid) and many have either families and/or cars to dig out/walkways to shovel. So the ED called an actual snow day instead of just a wfh day. I'm very glad I did not have PT scheduled for today.

Realized I could watch the AFC game without being upcharged on my paramount subscription so that was fun. I don't have peacock though.

I put on silk long underwear to go out with dad this morning even though he had the car and picked me up. Am I really going to walk to the green line and pick up a library book when the real feel is -3F? I could try tomorrow at 11am. It'll feel a whopping 6 degrees warmer.

Tried pylos at PT on *Wednesday* lots of jumping around... My legs hurt *today* 48 hours later. Make it make sense 🤷 Told the surgeon on Tuesday I was still feeling tight in the back and she put in a vascular referral. Guess the MRA + ultrasound wasn't good enough. (I'm glad she's being thorough)
