i also had the chance to commentate Amber’s Xenoblade run! it was at ungodly hours but i think we did a damn good job. like 5 of our friends (4th photo) showed up to sit in the empty room & get SO hyped it genuinely was the greatest & brought such a fun energy to it all, it was amazing & so fun!

The fundamental misunderstanding here (other than being a shit person) is the belief that GDQ is a speedrunning marathon. It isn't. GDQ is a charity marathon. It exists to raise money for charity. It does that through speedrunning and high-level gaming. Charity first. That's the priority.
