I'm back in the studio! I tried to throw larger today (was aiming for a ramen bowl) and it was the first time throwing 4lbs. Phew! A lot more wrestling with the clay to center it with each additional lb! What I threw wound up being too thin, but it was a good learning experience.😊 #ceramics #pottery

I wasn't feeling DragonCon FOMO until the midnight countdown came across my IG feed.😭 I miss it. And I don't? Over the 13 years I went there are some amazing memories...and some awful ones. The con doubled during that time. It's no longer for the faint of heart (if it ever was). Maybe next year.

Last job I had as an embroidery tech I almost didn't get cause I was overqualified. I had to assure them that I wouldn't be bored, and I wasn't, but I also did a ton outside of my role. Recently I applied to be an alterations tailor, but I was turned away. Overqualified. I can't get *sewing jobs*.
