When asked what gives him hope, @mohanedelnour.bsky.social: "I know as soon as this war ends, civilians won't be silent. Civilians have been the de facto govt and have been running the country while the two parties are fighting," referring to ERRs, resistance committees, and revolutionary forces.

After 54 years of brutal Assad regime rule and 14 years of war, Syrians deserve to be able to re-envision and rebuild a Syria for all Syrians. The only way to do so is for sectoral sanctions to be lifted. As the Trump admin sets its Syria policy, this must be a top priority.
