A juvenile Diplodocus is slipping out post-bedtime for a late #FossilFriday post. Like other Mesozoic dinosaurs, young diplodocids were proportioned differently than adults, bearing shorter necks, faces and tails. The mottled skin pattern is based on (very tentative) palaeocolour data. #paleoart

For monthes now I've had friends and family commend me on my resilience and perseverance in the face of the current job market. And I get it and I am thankful and I will keep at it. But I get so tired and frustrated sometimes. Alot of the time. I don't want to be a NEET but I also don't wanna —

I couldn't do commissions. I could not and don't want to make a living off that. Setting aside my skill level and what I would price my work at, I just know that I would be so burnt out. I just wanna find a job that can support me and provides enough off time to do stuff that I enjoy.

Whenever I hear Beauty and a Beat, my mind is transported back to 5 years ago when I worked as a dishwasher at a restaurant on campus, we had a small radio back of house and one night the college station played that song once every half hr. I was on an 8 hr shift.
