It’s all remarkably irrelevant because the reality is that the only thing that would matter is which direction the military would choose to turn their sights. I have no illusions of some rag tag uprising. If the military locks step with Trump, my guns would be useless toys.

It’s self-funding and maintains an operational reserve, so historically they stay open during shutdowns. But who knows with this administration.

I’m a Texas-based gun owning progressive, so I am aware. But statistics are not our friends, and my other liberal gun owning friends don’t sit around inventing scenarios in their head so they can daydream of murdering other humans like too many red hats I know. I have guns, they own arsenals.
