Washington finished 22nd in scoring offense and 27th in scoring defense this season. Even with all the injuries, #Commanders HC Dan Quinn decided change was needed. Nailing both these hires is arguably his most important task this offseason.

The #Commanders have parted ways with OC Kliff Kingsbury and DC Joe Whitt Jr., per source.

Dan Quinn demurred when asked if he's going to call defensive plays next season. Still evaluating best step forward. But said he'll be "heavily involved" with the defense one way or another.

Peters said the #Commanders would be open to trading the No. 7 pick to amass more draft capital. They have just two picks in the first four rounds.
