Whenever my cat "bites" (the Tuxedo one, not the orange one) he very gently places his teeth on you. Its more like a "hey please stop that" than him trying to hurt you. The orange one doesn't bite at all but she will leave a big sandpaper wound if you let her lick you for too long (which she does)
