The walk I took was good. Steady, slow, and calm. The more I quieted my mind, the more I could see and notice. Very much up in my head today, but full of tools and practices to navigate my world when I get this way. Being my own Dad is exhausting, but necessary.

Spending over six weeks being more mindful about my time on here, what I passively consume for internet content, and the choices about what I share, has been good for me. Changing what I share of me, changing my interactions… It seems to be better for my whole sense of self.

From a lovely client session this morning, to a day spent with my cuddle-bud, today was a really great start to the week.

When he’s not dreaming deep, this old man is keeping watch over me, making sure I’m calm, steady, and at peace. It has been a beautiful weekend of reconnection, and I’m convinced that, if my life had room for a dog permanently, you’d rarely see me among our human society. #monochromemonday

Been a colorful start to the month.

Last night I bought a big hunk of pot roast that was marked down, an Oregon-sized onion, a couple of carrots, some celery, and some Brussels sprouts. Along with a quart of beef broth and some salt, pepper, and garlic, the resulting stew is *precisely* what I was hankering for. Simple, filling.

45 min of walking was an excellent choice. Esp after doing some compound moves across big muscle systems. — The gym isn’t just about gains and numbers. Sometimes, and also, it’s about being in your body completely. No matter the modality.

While I just received notification that SNAP benefits have been added to my card, I also do not trust that they are real. Am I being super-paranoid? Ughhhh Zero trust in any of it.
