The thing that has become a renewed source of anger & frustration is this: I hate hugs. I haaaaaaate them. They make me feel claustrophic & uncomfortable & occasionally nauseous. Hello insomnia my old fren

For Hanukkah, my assistant got me a tea infuser & variety of teas from a company called Snarky Tea. This was an incredibly thoughtful gift. I drink Crystal Light sweet tea out of an old Snapple container usually. This is a significant upgrade. I am so excited to try all the fruity tea flavors.

I sent one of my best friends a Junior’s Chocolate Mousse cheesecake for Christmas. It’s iconic. I agonized over which flavor to send & because I took so long deciding, flavors sold out & made the decision for me. I do not recommend this method, but I think the right choice happened.

I just made tater tot casserole… I followed the recipe, which called for frozen tots across the top, but I think I recall someone somewhere saying you should slightly pre-bake them? But not one recipe mentioned that?

It’s so weird to live in a town that, for instance, runs out of wrapping paper.

My very conservative friend was totally fine to go out to lunch w me when I was wearing my Porn Star ⭐️ in Training shirt. She’d never wear it but she did not judge me.

I got my assistant a facial gift certificate, among other things, for Christmas. I hope she will enjoy it. I wanted to get her something for self care and having your face massaged is so great. At work they call me “thorough” & “passionate” but not in a complimentary way. So she needs relaxation.

Hello I have insomnia coupled with anxiety exacerbated by holiday chaos.

When I was 9 I took a train from Flåm to Myrdal in Norway & was served a salmon lunch where the fish had been caught that morning. They also served simple boiled potatoes w parsley & a gravy boat of clarified butter & clearly I still think about that lunch. Have memorable lunches.

Already over it & I haven’t even gone inside.

It’s amazing how effective a bra can be if the elastic & other support materials are not 20 years old and naughtily washed in a washing machine & dried in a dryer. I keep being startled by how high up they are. Hahaha. It’s hard for me to invest in new bras when I hate them & I’d rather buy Legos.

I am so sick of this Motion in Limine I have been writing for 3 days officially and weeks in the shower.
