It doesn’t look like much, but I got my first little plot of wheat planted yesterday. And my arms are feeling it today. Aside from corn, this is my first real attempt to grow grain and I have no idea how it’s going to turn out.

Excited for the rain because it means I get to plant my wheat and garlic, but storms kinda lose their charm when you live in a tiny house and don’t have an indoor bathroom.

My other trash project is this mostly recycled materials chicken coop. We don’t have too much predator pressure here, with the biggest being coyotes, so I’m hoping this will be a decent and secure home for the birbs.
