Things have progressed to be a little kinder and less “gate-keepy” with music reviews than they used to be, but this kind of stuff is just mean-spirited and can have an outsized effect. I completely agree with the below.

I made more merch- this time using a Claude Paradin 1557 illustration “Heu cadit in quenquam tantum scelus.” Low intro price of $15 shipped within the continental US.

This was peak “I want to be featured in the back of Keyboard Magazine” maximalist in a tiny 10’ by 10’ space in South Philadelphia circa 2005, whilst recording “Eviscerate.”

KLACK is a must. Also they are exceedingly wonderful people.

In the before-times (early 2000’s) in South Philly, I had an absurd amount of vintage synths stuffed into a tiny 10’ x 10’ space where I couldn’t even physically reach half of them. Most were sold in the following decade when they became more valuable as collectibles than instruments.

Over the last few days I have been thinking about artists I used to listen to a lot years ago (especially during my DJ years). Decoded Feedback, Lights of Euphoria, Neuroactive, and X Marks the Pedwalk to name a few. What triggered this? A new release from another blast from the past: Lost Signal.

I had a Twitter account years ago. I never posted, but would login once a week to lurk. Once Musk bought it, my account was suspended for “suspicion of being a bot.” I appealed the suspension, and lost. I tried to create a new account, and was banned for life (again, for being a bot.)
