I realized that by the end of the year I will have written three books. I barely got a few chapters done before

Here’s my first two October drawings in one shot.

Sometimes I just watch a show that on paper sounds right up my alley and I just bounce off it hard. Lord of Mysteries sounded like the perfect show for me and I didn’t even make it through the first episode before I decided I didn’t like it. I usually give shows more of a chance.

Been chugging away at volume 3 of I Hate Dungeon School. Got about 6 chapters done totally nearly 15,000 words.

For my next writing project I really want to lean into “Ancient Magitek Civilization that fell and is being reclaimed by nature” as the major aesthetic. And then make all the main characters absolute goobers

Anyway I’m done writing for today, and that means I’ve earned some video game time and a pizza. God I love been craving a pizza something fierce

That’s the big thing about my writing. At the end of the day the primary audience for my story is me. I’m not going to change anything just to get more readership, because that would make me hate my own creation because I allowed others to dictate my path.

Well wrote a new chapter for my story and now I realized that all my original plot notes don’t work but that’s ok because this direction is way more interesting for me to write. Hopefully it’s good for the readers.

Is I Hate Dungeon School perfect? Hell no. Is it good? I dunno I can’t judge I’m too self critical. But it has been a rewarding experience to work on. I’ve learned a lot about writing in general, and about what elements I enjoy writing about. Which is sassy elven swordslesbians apparently

I have a goal to get volume 3 of I Hate Dungeon School written by the end of November. Volume 2 will be released for ebook in January. Volume 3 hopefully for ebook by March. The dream is to get the whole series done by 2027.
