I think it’s also worth noting – because I think this is sometimes taken for granted with artists – that I worked really REALLY hard on this music. It’s rich, it’s dense, it’s layered, and it took a looooong time. But I also think what I’m offering you is worth your time, because of that effort.

Ok, so running an independent record label is cool for a lot of reasons, but one of the LONGSTANDING difficulties that’s tough to get over is physical distribution. We’re big enough to justify inventory as an investment, but too small to have legacy distros take on our catalogue.

All that said, I really believe this music is worth the $3 I’m asking for it. We don’t talk about friendship nearly enough, and we REALLY don’t talk about the experience of friendship breaking down. I, however, have thought about it A LOT. And you can soon throw it back to my takeaways.

But, even in spite of all this, I love this shit anyway. As much as I hate the game, I simply cannot stay away. I was put on this earth with the exact brain chemistry required to channel my world through making art, and it’s ALL I got left that I am still good at!

I’ve been in the industry for like 15(?) years now, and every year gets harder. Music press doesn’t really break new music anymore, and there’s less of it than ever. Listeners are inundated with a firehose of *content* masquerading as art. AND I’m from Canada??? DIFFICULTY LEVEL: IMPOSSIBLE
